I'd say there's a chance if he was a well-written villain, but this is DC we're talking about. Black Manta's helmet looks so silly that there's no way I'm going to look at him and not laugh. The Flash's costume is cool, but it's cartoonish looking. Just like the way Enchantress moved her hips around in Suicide Squad. That's what this helmet looks like to me, another thing that I'm supposed to take as something a real villain would wear. DC keeps going for this darker, more serious tone, but then their visuals come off as so cartoonish and goofy. Aquaman was one of the weakest parts of Justice League, and that's saying a lot. As a film I thought it was above average, but not great.Īll this to say: I don't understand why people still get excited for these movies. I liked the cultural impact it had, as my mom is a huge Wonder Woman fan, and seeing her on the big screen meant a lot to her. Wonder Woman was better than the others, but it was just okay. I haven't enjoyed any of them, and often left the theater frustrated. DC movies since Man of Steel have sucked. So much so, that I had to open with things I liked about DC to not appear as a Marvel fanboy.

Sure, it's for kids, but things for kids can still be well made.
